In honor of Louise R. Boulanger, who worked for Union Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Catholic Family Life Insurance and Catholic Financial Life. She served as Administrator & Executive Director of the SJBEF from 1994 through 2015. Louise increased the Trust Fund from $800,000 to as much as $1.88 million dollars. She is a member of Chapter N442 of Somerset, MA.

In memory of Aldea Berthiaume
, a devoted council officer of Union Saint-Jean-Baptiste from Council 397 of Watertown, CT and a strong advocate for the preservation of the French language and French Canadian traditions. Her husband served on the USJB Board of Directors. Mrs. Berthiaume named the Foundation in her last will and testament.

Msgr. Charles Marcoux Scholarship – Established by Union Saint-Jean-Baptiste in memory of Msgr. Charles Marcoux for having served as Spiritual Director from 1967-1977. This scholarship is restricted to benefit and to recognize a seminarian from the Diocese of Burlington, VT.

Dr. Omer E. Boivin & Laurette Boivin Scholarship Fund, a devoted member of Union Saint-Jean-Baptiste, from Fall River, MA and a strong advocate for the preservation of the French language and French Canadian traditions. He began serving USJB in 1934 as medical director then became a board member in 1937 serving through 1968 where he was 2nd Vice President before he retired. Dr. Boivin named the Foundation in his last will and testament.

In memory of Armand Bonvouloir, a devoted member of Union Saint-Jean-Baptiste from Holyoke, MA who served as USJB Treasurer General from 1936-1940 then as General Board member through 1958.

In memory of Albert Dumais, devoted member of Council 159-Lewiston, ME and former council officer, agent and member of the USJB Board of Directors and Executive Committee. This scholarship was established by the members of Council 159 and is awarded to a student residing in Lewiston or in the event there is none, to a student from the state of Maine.

In honor of Lionel J. Frappier, devoted member from Chapter N439 of Bellingham, MA who served in various officer positions, this scholarship is awarded to a student from Bellingham, MA or in the event there is none, to a student from the state of Massachusetts. Lionel also served as a former USJB General Board member, USJB Director of Fraternal Activities and as SJBEF administrator.

In honor of Cecile & Jeannette Frechette, two sisters who were members of Chapter N149 of Waterbury, CT and who served in various officer positions. Both were strong advocates for the preservation of the French language and French Canadian traditions. In memory of Corinne and J. Henry Goguen, both devoted members of USJB from Leominster, MA. Mr. Goguen served as President General of Union Saint-Jean-Baptiste from 1946-1974 and was the founding president of the SJBEF. Mr. Goguen was a strong advocate for the preservation of the French language and French Canadian traditions. In memory of Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Labossiere, both devoted members of USJB Council 216 of Ware, MA. Both were strong advocates for the preservation of the French language and French Canadian traditions. In honor of Doria & Edgar Martel, both devoted USJB members from Woonsocket, RI. Mr. Martel served as President General of USJB from 1975-1986. This scholarship is awarded to a student from Woonsocket, RI or in the event there is none, to a student from the state of Rhode Island.

In honor of and in memory of Pearl Plante who served as a member of the New England Advisory Board with CFLI and Catholic Financial Life and who served as a Trustee of the SJBEF. This scholarship was established by chapter N002 – Woonsocket, RI.
